It’s Been a Long Long Time   Key of F Key of C Sammy Cahn, Jule Styne, Bing Crosby with Les Paul (#1 in 1945),
Harry James (#1 in 1945), Stan Kenton (#6 in 1945), Charlie Spivak (#4 in 1945)

Kiss me once, Then kiss me twice
Then kiss me once again, It’s been a long, long time
Haven’t felt, Like this my dear, Since I can’t remember when
It’s been a long, long time

You’ll never know, How many dreams
I’ve dreamed about you, Or just how empty they
All seemed without you, So kiss me once,
Then kiss me twice, Then kiss me once again
It’s been a long, long time

This song, composed in 1945, had great meaning to returning service personnel and their loved ones at the conclusion of World War II.
